Default What colour should I paint my rims?

I've got a 1990 Mariner Blue Miata just like this one:

and I have rims just like this [except not as deep]:

and was thinking of a colour combo that would either go very well with the blue or so not belong there that it actually looks good. Any sugz?

This is what I'm thinking:

*Yellow with either a polished lip or gloss black lip

*Completely neon green / neon orange

Besides that I'm at a loss for colours

Can't imagine a "Big Jon" driving a miata.

I would keep the rims the way they are.

I noticed that.

If you're looking for standout, then I'd say yellow will definitely achieve your goal.

First off, why you gonna buy after market wheels that look so much like the factory wheels? Secondly, the two choices you mentioned SUCK!! Too much contrast and nothing to tie things together. Silver or black with polished outer lip would be good. If your car sits as high as the one in the pic then I'd say a lowering job would enhance any wheels or wheel color you choose. Stance is dramatic and affects the "attitude" of a car and/or wheels. The wheels you chose have a vintage appeal to them. Give this a thought...satin medium gray centers and polished outer lip(see American Racing Torque Thrust D).

That car looks identical to the Grassroots budget build I seen awhile back. Miatas are something special to the right person. I'd love to do some Spec Miata racing.

dont hold back man, paint them straight up rainbow.

maybe ball sack centerpieces

or hook up a dildo to a bearing and ride spinners outside of the rainbow rims.

that would defeat the purpose of the nutsack centerpiece

But I look at it as two options

maybe some days you dont want spinning penis rims

just remove for the understated nutsack rims.

win win
