So I have a t-mobile phone from work... And my wife has a phone from a local provider.
They are both on our desks charging, and she's to bed.
Suddenly, hers chirps, and its a text message from my phone "hi"
Odd, I though.
About 5 minutes later, mine chirps "hi"
Then hers chirps "Hello? Are you there?"
Mine chirps, "stop."
^^ And that was the last message.
Now all of those messages we sent back and forth earlier, but not in that order... This is pretty fucked up. If I was superstitious at all, I might be a little creeped out.
I just got a new phone with built-in MP3 player and I downloaded some Old Time Radio shows into it. I was in a business today, and the salesman and I hear these strange creepy muffled noises. After looking around for a bit I realize it's the Shadow.. playing in my pocket.

I remember when I was remodeling this house... well, restoring it. We'd get these faint echoing voices in the kitchen sometimes.
Turns out the vent was catching some sound, and it was reverberating down.
I've never been superstitious, even though I have a very active imagination... Except one place.
On this twisty road in the middle of nowhere, I used to drive it in the middle of the night in my old 'Vette to relieve stress... It was pretty much pitch black, and the worlds worst headlights didnt do much for it. I don't know how many times I saw faces, peripheral vision... in the mirrors.
I wont say how fast I went, but I'll say that I won't go that fast in daylight there now. Well, for many reasons. People actually drive there now, plus I'm a hell of a lot less stupid.

Reminds me of this one time at around 11pm at night I got a call on my cell phone from a friend of mine. The call came from his house phone. He was in boot camp across the country. I answered and there was no one there. Then I called his house back and after many rings his dad answered the phone and he was in bed and his wife was in the shower.
Creeped me out. No one had called from that house.
