That jump from 100 to 200mph was VERY quick... On the water... 210 is insane...

I don't really get the the big deal with this?

It's NOT a drag boat, its an offshore power racer boat being driven on a flat lake, most power racers proped/geared correctly could probably do 200mph+ on a flat lake.

Plus we've been able to do over 210mph on the water since 1955. Water speed record - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Gradually learning to do more and more with less and less until I can do everything with nothing.

By the way, that video is in the ocean. Probably in the intracoastal somewhere, it's not off shore racing conditions but not calm waters either.
