He's the one that asked what he could do for me, I was just responding.

Also, see above.

He doesn't need to do shit. It IS his site. You are entirely correct. But he has in effect ruined the entire point of the forum. I don't know if he cares about that. He might not. A quick buck may be more important than turning a forum into another caraudio.com.

Yep.. You've got me!
I censor everything, and prevent people from speaking their mind anytime I think it will have a negative impact on business..

This thread is just another example of how intollerant I am to opposing view points! GJDM!!

How has it?

Are 'honest' reviews being deleted or censored?

Does he ban people like you for talking shit about him?

Do you even know what you are arguing against at this point?

Can you provide any evidence of any kind of anti-free speech censorship or gagging in any way?

Cause I sure as shit don't see anything here that supports any of that statement.

Thanks for the 'scrip. One thing about DIYMA is that that even the most benign topics always seem to stir up controversy. Maybe a bit irritating, but never boring.

I wasn't talking about you, I was talking about the general attitude of the people who have come to your defense. That would be way too ICIX of you. Why do yourself what legions of your supporters can do for you?

I don't think the increase in sales is anything that's measurable, as if to say this percentage of sales came from buying DIYMA, but it's there. Why? Because wherever people go in public car audio forums, be it CA.com or SSA and even ECA way back when, people are constantly reminded of how great a company SS is, how great and magnanimous a leader it has. It really is like a cult.

Even though you blatantly copy other people's product ideas and don't lift a finger in opposition of sound deadening practices that are incredibly inefficient and are a complete waste of money, time, and weight for those involved but that are REALLY good for your business, like selling 600sq.ft and 800sq.ft of dampening at a time for one person working on ONE car. And you could never do that to your own car - so you get someone who works for you, Buzz Thompson, do it in his

First of all. Leave Buzz Thompson out of this.
The man has more integrity than you are currently showing in this thread and is an f'ing genius!!
Personal attacks on him have no place in this thread, so unless he comes here to dispute your disrespectful comments, I would prefer if you would keep this between us.

So by your standard everyone that sells a quality vibration damper is blatantly copying other peoples product. Again, constraint layer dampers have not changed much in the last few years. Dynamat, Hushmat, Damplifier, Stinger Roadkill, SDS cld tiles all variations of constraint layer dampers. I think what you are upset about is the marketing angle I have chosen to take. After all, since all these mats all work on the same exact principle, you obviously have no leg to stand on when it comes to product development or difference among them. The only thing you can possible refute is the marketing angle each company takes.

Marketing, I think you might want to focus your argument on rather than insulting me with the "unoriginality" line you have used several times throughout this thread. After all, If I am unoriginal, so is everyone else that you have chosen to overlook while trying to pick apart my faults.
We all do the same thing. Some do it better than others is all. Some know more about the product than others. Some know how to make it better than others, some know how to make it cheaper than others, and some know how to sell it better than others.

So if I am getting this right, you are upset with me because I did not invent the products which I sell, but are not mad at anyone else for selling very similar products?

You are mad at me for following the sales model of other companies, but not mad at them, for ALSO not inventing the product and following similar sales models,

and you are made at me for making a profit with the way I market the product, but not mad at the other people that profit in the same way, by selling the same product?
Very hypocritical don't you think?

How can you be mad at me for marketing my product similar to my competitors when they are marketing in a manner that is very consistent with tons of other companies out there?
So you not see the flaw in your argument?

You are obvious singling me out for some other reason.
Your anger or resentment towards me for other reasons in getting jumbled up with some other issues and your are all over the place.

Be mad at me if you want, but at least know why you are mad and be up front about it!

ANT

Oh, and to my knowledge there is only one guy that I know that has used 600+ sq feet of Second Skin in his car.
Not 600 sq feet of Damplifier, or Luxury Liner Pro, but 600 combined feet of many types of product.
If you are going to make insults about my business practices, please come with some real numbers rather than this exaggerated crap.

Gonna give it a try. It's the closest thing to an auto sound magazine that I can think of currently. Sadly, I'd have no use for other sections of the magazine because I'm a Jeep guy.

No, it's not your marketing angle, you just run harmless banner ads and give away free stuff. Well, and you're a "stand up guy" and have everyone convinced of this. That's your marketing angle. And while I could argue that, it's your business practices that I brought up in this thread.

One guy comes out with an idea that noone is currently selling. The next day, you're calling your suppliers getting quotes for what is in essence the EXACT SAME PRODUCT. Where the fuck is the confusion is that? Is that somehow honest? Sell your own shit, the formulas of which you say you've developed on your own, don't steal someone else's idea outright. You've got your cryogenically enhanced polymers and your CLD-thickness-oneupmanship to sell. For christ's sake, it's just sleazy.

Dynamat, Cascade, Don at SDS, and hell even ED all have their own distinctive brand of product, you can tell one from another quite easily. They're all marketed differently and packaged differently. They don't blatantly rip off other people's ideas like you do, so stop passing it off like everyone does it and it's the industry norm. Noone in the industry is as blatant as you are and you know it.

I provided examples, where are yours? Nothing but hearsay.

My argument about this is in the other thread. I'm singling you out because you bought DIYMA, and in the process have effectively killed it's spirit.

Here is your 600sq.ft of your sound dampening figure: 640 SQUARE FOOT OF DEADENING, Complete Two Tone, HUNDEREDS of LEDs (2001 Maxima) - Car Audio Forum - CarAudio.com

That IS a real number, and NOT "exaggerated crap." As for you knowing only one guy that used that much in his car, urk, I'm bringing him up again, but how much stuff does Buzz have in his truck? There's no way you're not gonna tell me it isn't way up there.

After 3 months they will stop coming.
It think that the 3rd issue will give you notification that your free trial is up, and will give you the information you need in order to sign up for a real subscription if you want to.

They don't have your credit card info.
They don't have your social security number.
They don't have your signature.
They are not going to bill you.
