It looks like DAT's been getting some bad press lately, so I thought I'd share my buying experience with him.
I bought/paid for a Massive Audio NX2 amp and CK6-V component speakers back in December. He told me he could ship the amp immediately, but the speakers would have to wait until mid January. That was fine by me, considering I was getting a good deal.
The amp came beautifully packaged, new in box, exactly as he described. Sweet!
The speakers were delayed beyond the expected time frame, so I sent him a PM, we exchanged emails, then phone numbers, and spoke on the phone. I told him my concern was the time frame, because even though he's a very good seller, I must do my job as a good buyer and close the transaction within 45 days. This is to follow PayPal's dispute rules; I'm just protecting myself, as everyone should.
He completely understood and was totally reasonable. We came to the agreement that he'll try to have the speakers rush-processed and shipped by Friday. If it can't be done, I'll have a refund. To me, that's a very good solution to the problem; he's doing a great job of fulfilling the role of a good seller.
So if his 200+ iTrader feedback didn't already convince you, DAT (Dave Temple) is a good guy and he'll definitely take care of you.
the CK6's have been on a huge backorder for past month, so not DATS fault, worse case scenario, he could just refund you, and once they hit, you can pay again..

I still don't have them. He shipped them a couple days ago... but now I'm pretty pissed that I paid the normal price for an obsolete item, simply because he took too long.

GerryH, not sure if they actually changed anything on the set, maybe just model number for some goofy reason.. everything else seems same, but i have not got any real lit or specs on them to compare to..

I told you everyone was out of the CK6 even Massive Audio in California as Dman stated earlier. I can assure you got the newest model, just called Massive and they swapped the Model from CK6 Stage V to CK X
They said all remaining CK Stage V's in the new shipment they got have been shipped to the dealers and when the new Subs come in for shipment it would also include the new CK6 X model and packaging...

Thanks !! They didn't change anything. CK6 Stage V is now called the CK -X

that will be case with almost every manufacturer on orders in Dec/Jan., everyone changing over at that time of year with new product fixing to come out..
As far as woofers, they have a couple that will be coming out, that should be quite interesting...
