Then run the 12 back to the distro at the amps and put it in the hole as one of the amps wires. Be sure to fuse it close to the distro block as well.

Yes... they're just 6.5's they cannot reproduce subbass frequency with any kind of real authority.
I have used those same mids and I had them crossed at 70 with 200 watts and they where great...

What's your highpass on the mids set on? If you didn't set one then you very well may have done some damage to them on bass heavy tracks.

Got a meter? If not it's going to be hard to figure out whats going on. There is no way to reset the module it just retains your door chime and onstar if you have it.

Why can't you set it 1.6? the same as your fullrange. There's a switch on the back to set to three way.
The midhigh is your lowpass filter and the midlow is your highpass filter.

you can find a switched power source in the fuse panel on the driver side of the dash.
