So that's a Kove voice coil? Looks pretty good for a spare parts build, how do you think it'll sound? Also aren't you afraid something will get in the gap made by the washers?

See I could never get away with that, somehow a handful of staples, 2 brad nails, and one of those rare steel pennies would end up in my voice coil gap

Just one question, did you just build a random box because i dont see how you could have possibly modeled it and get something remotely predictable?

I have a question, this can really be answered by anyone that does this stuff I guess.

Then you build a frankenwoofer how do you go about assuring that the center of the VC itself is centered in the magnetic gap? I'm not talking round-wise I'm taking up and down. Yall know that this is very important right?

A different magnet will cause it to have a wildly different reactivity.

Why epoxy and not rubberized CA glue? Would be instant (within seconds) curing...and 99% of speakers are built with CA glue these days.
