I would like to know what opinions are on the amplifier leviathan III, will be used in a system to sound quality, 3 ways, sls perless + l3se + l1 pro ... I can give you opinions about it, believe it has potential, thanks and sorry for my English.
There were some issues with the version 1, but those bugs seem to be worked out... along with a higher price tag for the III. More power also. I was dead set on getting one when they first came out, but the negative reviews scared me away. You can spend maybe a couple hundred more bucks & get your power modded to be 4-8 ohm stable to really push those SLS's.
Come to think of it, there's a modded Leviathan III in the classifieds right now.
If your crossover selection on your deck is limited this would be a good amp for that also.

higher? it was $870, now it is $788 they lowered the price on the Levi III. anyone who used one of these knew they put out closer to 180watts, not the 150 watts they rated it for. ZED simply re-rated the amplifier for what it really puts out.
ZED (Stephen Mantz) have always been good quality and ossum sounding amplifiers. you really cant go wrong.

thanks for your answers? actually has a value of 789 dollars, the system is completed by the minotaur amplifier, the subwoofer I have not decided yet.
you really say that the amplifier delivers more than what the manufacturer states, with low power consumption?
perform well on my system? is a time of very good quality?
I want to get the highest possible quality, cuts and crosses the processor makes with some imagine. it is also possible to use the amplifier corssover
they say I will do well with zed or should I consider other options ...?
about negative criticism, only generation I had problems? of the II and III there has been no negative comments I think ... anyone know anything?

Yes. I don't recall the exact amount, but I think the Lev I had a price tag around $650.
The first Leviathan was maybe 4 years ago at the most.

been around since 2006, so 6 years. doesnt really matter. Maybe using the time frame was a bad example.
you still cant compare a first run model against a new model and then complain that it cost more with more power and better features, lol.
Who's complaining? I would expect to pay more for additional power & features... but I did want to point out to the OP that price has went up. BTW, what other features did he add besides the extra power & dropping the high/low pass point to 55hz from 80hz?
He didnt add extra power, it was there the whole time. It was 599 I believe on the pre-order. It shouldnt cost more IMO for the other revisions. I really think that the price will keep dropping over time to around where they first were. I cant imagine he is selling alot of them.
