Default need help adding some bass in my 2013 Honda accord

just recently purchased an 2013 Accord, I like everything about the car besides the sound system. Fiest thing I would like to do is add more bass to the car. I do not want earthshaking bass but want just more thump to make my music sound better.

I want to keep my budget around $200.
Any suggestions??

I can run a LOC from the subwoofer connections but Im not sure how to set up a gain for the amp since its a stock headunit.

I would also like to use as little space as possible. The stock system has a subwoofer in the middle of the rear deck.

If it was me, I would go something like this or very similiar. You need speaker level inputs and it's nice when the amp can sense when the inputs or on and powers up the sub amp automatically. This unit does that.

Kicker PT10 (11pt10) 100W Sealed Amplified Loaded Sub Enclosure

System 1 of 3: Amptech Alt, Stealth reg, Alpine IVA-C800, DVA-5205, CHA-S604, MB-Quart Premium-316, Mcintosh MCC443m, MCC427, Audio Control DQXS, Epi, ESP-2, Kicker XPL 12's.

I was just reading through the reviews, one person said that you do not have to connect the box to your battery.. is this true??

can I just hook this box straight from the speaker wire of the stock subwoofer and the box will use that as a gain also??

jaxxx, it will require a power and a ground. It only pulls about 5 amps tho, so you don't necessarily have to go clear to the battery for power. Might find a good power source from your fuse block, but make sure someone helps you with this if you have never done it. You will tap into the speaker wire of your stock subwoofer or unplug it all together and run them into this amp for the signal. That's it, signal, power, and ground your done. It will turn off/on automatically with your stock stereo. It also has a bass control knob you can mount under your dash that will control the gain of the subwoofer to your liking.

RNBRAD, sounds simple enough. how does this box compare to an infinity basslink 2 or a bazooka subwoofer?

If you're really on a tight budget, and don't want to piece it all together yourself and build (or have built) an enclosure, I would say this...

400W Boston Acoustics G110PS Loaded Enclosure+GTA-2602 Amp+Tunk Kit

Pretty much everything you need, save for the LOC and it is right in your budget.
