I hope to be able to listen to this system, assuming the line is not too long the next time.

Me too! lol
by any chance did JT do a build log on this? I'd love to see the execution of this build. It looks so well thought out that it looks like the car came with those amps and processor.

Is it the same story with the LX amps where the 2 channels turned out better than the 4 channel version or is there a difference this go around?

I went with a pair of the 4 channel LEs and have no regrets.

I have no idea. I went with the 4 two-channels because of availability. So far I'm extremely pleased.

Are the LX's much better than the LE's if all controls that were removed weren't needed? On paper they are, has anyone done a comparison? I'm specifically interested in the six channel.

LX and LE have the same internals. They are the evolutionary step from the Z series. I haven't done a side by side with the Z and the LX/LE, but very happy with my two LEs

LE was a limited run...only a few hundred. They have gold badges and only were produced in the 2-channel and 4-channel variants.

LX should be available in larger quantities, and in addition will have the 6-channel.

Got it, thanks for the clarification.

Really interested in these. Seen a couple reports of less-than-stellar things about the regular Z, but the LX seems to have really improved on those, so any reviews of the Z vs the LX I'll be watching for. Been searching for a replacement for my Levi.

I had three of the Levi-III's. I loved the format, function and look. I was going to run the whole system off two. Keeping the third for a back up.

But once I started reading about the amplifier. Before anything ever happened I just let them go. I never installed them anyway.

I could not find any pricing info on line, about the LX I wanted to know if the pricing was similar or less than the DC models and any of the other amps that have the DSP built in, since no DSP is built in in the LX ones.
