That's good, and in no way a surprise, but heat it up and cool it down hundreds-thousands of times over a longer period of time. As stated, it is likely to break down and acquire a lower failure temperature.

As I said, two years (over 700 days at least) and the stuff didn't fail for me. Another two years and I may have sung a different tune.

I was honest when I sold the car, showed the quick roof in the trunk and told them it'd been in there for a couple years. Didn't figure the guy really cared, and it clearly showed. Car was bound to be a rig runner and may no longer be on the road as we speak for all I know.

I've got some old deadener as well, though I doubt it'd interest TS2F all that much. Got some Scosche Accumat and Tsumani deadener.
