For me Morel Supremo.
I have it from a month and I am really impressed of the sound quality. Every piece of the music is clearly reproduced.

Used to never be a huge fan, but I own a pair of JL 8w7's, and have to say I'm extremely impressed. Also had a Fi Car Audio Q series in a previous SQ setup and it was pretty amazing to say the least.

By far without a doubt the JL 13W6.

This is an unique size driver that will fit in just about any vehicle. Enclosure requirement is small enough to make it suitable in many installs. Powering it with 600wrms will yield very nice output. This is a big plus for for stock alt guys.

I have not found any genre that the 13W6 will not reproduce accurately. Too many instances I here of sub systems that excel in one area and lack in another. This probably has alot to do with enclosure design but all in all the 13W6 has my vote.

For the longest time I was running an Adire Koda, thought it was great until I heard a friend's IDQ, bought one for myself the next week and haven't looked back. Still want to try out a Morel though.

I understand your point of view!

But after thinking about it I went to get some Bass Tones and Music to test for fun....

I have never been a Fan of these BASS songs and definitely the i6SW doesn't sound/performs these tracks like two 12" woofers in trunk, but... I actually enjoyed the music, to my surprised I would like to use some of these tracks to show off my little 6.5" subwoofer!

I have been running 2 Boston G512-44s for the last 6 months or so and its the best of both worlds - very transparent and blends smoothly with the front stage but can also get very loud.

That is freaking cool and I would love to hear something like or along those lines. I hate carting around my bigass sub.

Though my vote for best sq sub is the focal 33kx. It doesn't get stupid loud but it fills in nice and accurate. But damn it takes up a lot of space.

I would LOVE to be able to hear all of these subs. I live in BFE everything I buy I have to depend on opinions.

I have been told that the new focal subs are excellent. I went with the good ol' JL10w6, Its not the best and its not the worst. I justcouldnt spend $600 plus on a sub I have never heard.

A $50 subwoofer in a well-engineered box will outperform a $500 subwoofer in a mediocre box.

For the most part, a subwoofer is just a piston that moves air. Pick the one with the most displacement for the least money.

I have some threads on this at my forum (forum.audiopsychosis.com)

The best sub will generally be the one with the most displacement. A flat BL curve and a big amplifier helps a lot.

In principle it would be quite simple to waste the surplus labour of the world by building temples and pyramids, by digging holes and filling them up again, or even by producing vast quantities of goods and then setting fire to them. (Orwell)

However, if both are in a well engineered box which would win?

So everybody's voting other?

I want a sub that pushes massive amounts of air, extremely small, incredibly efficient and doesn't require an enclosure of any kind....in other words reusable controlled explosives
