It occured to me that I could finally run a spiffy 3 way fully active setup in the front of my old BMW 735i.
Currently using an older A/D/S PH30.2 amp, its 75x6 with full electronic crossovers for each channel.
I would like to dedicate this to the front only, with an as yet to be determined midbass in the kicks, and a set of Nakamichi 25 & 35mm domes for the mids/highs.
These are from an oooooldschool speaker setup, the SP-400. A 3 way plate design I pulled from a car at the yard. The 5.25 mids had no surrounds, but the domes both sound fantastic.
SO, I would like to install these domes in the upper part of my door.
Be advised they are both on a single plate, and cannot be separated easily.
Their spec sheet from wayback lists their crossover points at 2500 & 8500hz.
Do these values seem reasonable?
Yeah I know its a quirky setup, but its period correct and I like that.
