I've got an EA alternator on my Accord and it works fine. The only thing I had to do was switch the pulley from my old alt to the EA one as the EA one was just slightly too small.
HUM he said it should bolt right on.. now im a little worryed. I mean the new pully is supposed to help the new alt i think i don't think your supposed to switch them out. i've got a check written up for him if he ever gets back to me or answers his phone
ive seen many people have issues with all the ho alt companies, best thing i can see is take your stock alti to a local place and have them rebuild it for more amps.
go to a pick and pull, get an alti that fits your car and have them work on it.
leave your 'working' altie alone
bad fit, bad voltage, failure after 1 week, long delivery time etc, ive seen it all on teh forumz.
mine came damaged from him about 7 times due to fedex damaging it/poor packaging.
but nate came through and fixed it every time with no extra costs. he even rebuilt me a new one w/ new powdercoat after about the 4th time or so. eventually one made it out to me undamaged and has been working fine since.

You ever see how packages are handles at FedEx or UPS?
Everyone should work at a shipping company for one month to get the true picture.
Almost every HO alt company I know of has had its fair share of poor customer service, and Nathan at EA is no different. I know of a couple people in particular who have received the short end of the stick.
Personally, I recommend Powermaster products. Legendary SPL competitor Scottie Johnson works there now.
The experience you have listening to music through speakers may be similar to drinking great wine and eating the best cheese, but the speaker isn't the wine, it's the wine glass. The music is the wine and cheese. Artists make great music, artisans make great food. Engineers and factories design and make great speakers.

Yes, he told me it was bolt on (no mod) as well. Not a big deal for me, as I just ran it up to Advance to have the pulley's switched out.

yep i already know.. the package was about basketball size and heavy..
though i think it should have been wrapped in a little more than newspaper and a small piece of bubble wrap. double boxing it would have been a good idea..
i actually had him put on a smaller pulley after the first pulley was bent and i had complained that the alternator wasnt charging at all.
would i buy from him again? probably not.. id rather go somewhere local or perhaps a bigger business than a one man show.
i hate my iraggi sorry mates. i think it failing. i mean 200 ampalt should handle a 1500D 100.2 and 100.4 with a kinetik 1800 and 2400 and big three with 0 gauge.
I'm a little concerned I think i remember him saying he can find an alt like mine at a friend of his yard. I don't know if thats to copy it or to use it and rewind it. if that be the case what the hell am i paying him for?

After receiving mine, it was unusable. I had to return it twice before it was usable. I never got refunded for the shipping, time wasted, and a mechanic I paid (after he promised to do so).
Nate (the owner) stopped answering the phone as well, and would only make contact via e-mail. He also ended up deleting and editing most of my posts and other peoples posts on Realm of Excursion who were complaining about his service and products.
mobeious received his alternator unusable and Nate sent him another non-working alternator. Mobeious sent them both back and got a refund after some hassle.
I emailed nate a long winded question about the above and asked for what i'm getting in writing. I'm going to do a large review on his product so hopefully things will be up to par for that.
I bought from Nate 3 years ago, after getting a bad one (piss poor packaging), I finally got a good one. 75,000 highway miles later it died, so I sent it to Nate for repair. To this date, I have yet to get my alt back, any response from Nate, and would never buy from there again.

Roll the dice brother, your call. I'm sure enough people have had good experience with him, but after my dealings with him, I sure wouldn't buy from him again. Just be forewarned, it may take 2 or 3 deliveries to get one that works and IF it breaks, you are SOL at least that has been my experience.

the alternator process took about a year to get it right. finally came out okay.
though.. i dont even know if its doing the 200a that its supposed to.. but oh well, a factory alternator costs about double of what i paid..
How did you deal with the Electronic Load Detection? Any Mods to that? What are the charging steps of the new alternator (ELD uses incremental charging stages to reduce wear/engine loading.)
