Rockford Fosgate 3Sixty.2 or Eclipse CD-7200 MKII?
Ok, this is what I have narrowed it down to, getting either the 360 or the 7200. If I get the 360 it will be used with my Pioneer 5900IB. I know the RF will give more tuning options, but the HU won't be as high quality. I know the Eclipse is a very nice HU, and I know about the wash out issue in the sun, I don't care about that. It does have the E-iSERV feature which looks intriguing but I am not sure what it does. Basically any advice is helpful in this decision.

hey i just got a cd7000. the E-iserv lets you do the tuning online and upload onto the headunit using a cd, memory stick, or maybe usb with the 7200 ( not 100% sure about this because the cd7000 does not have a usb port).

bluetooth works on the new new ones....the noise and the quality of sound isn't up to par with priced comparable products. Use the 7200mkII without the 360.2 you'll love it.

yep in the 10k to 16k range- fluctuates from high to low the entire time...the first one I got would send out garbage noise at full gain and shut down my audisons. I've moved on and I hope others have better success then I did

It has been fixed supposedly and if it isn't they will fix it for you.

Mine has some floor noise that really isn't bad, but higher than my previous processor which had a lower s/n rating. It's actually inaudible when the engine is running.
I've also got a li'l alt whine that I've been fighting since I've owned it (also not present with the previous processor mounted in the same place and with the same wiring), and I think I'ma talk to my dealer about swapping it out to see if it's defective.
Haven't had an issue with the BT or the other weird hiss that some have referenced.

Well, what other processors offer the same amount of options and is as flexible for around the same price?

Ok, but is the Imprint on that model the same as the 9887 with Imprint? I mean, does it automatically do it and not let you customize all the EQ bands or is it pretty much just like the 360?

My other thought is the Audiocontrol DQXS.

The 650 does more than the 9887/H100. You can DL the manual on the Alpine site but from what I gather since it's PC tuned it's much more flexible.

I think the Eclipse is the way to go, or somehow get my hands on an Audison Bit One.

Huh, I never had any audible hiss with my first or second 3Sixty.2. I have had the BT problem twice, in fact I just sent my second back the other day...

Why not? noise, reliability, SQ, other? I often thought it was a good compromise to chopping the oem out of the dash.. With the aux input and lossless feed, wouldn't it be a decent sounding compromise? (but yeah their msrp is silly.. even street prices are silly.. but I'm cheap like that).

I found it to be 3years behind the H701 for my application. They are comparable price wise but the features were lacking. The xover points weren't close to what was displayed.
50hz low pass was at around 60.
I did most of the xover points on the amps and deck.
The OEM feature is awesome...simple to setup and sounds good to. As an aftermarket processor, I wasn't amazed! I had to use two for 3way + sub setup.
I personally think the 360.1 should of been OEM in only with FRONT/REAR/SUB/CENTER OUT with AUX in. The 360.2 should of been aftermarket only Front/Rear/Sub in Front1/Front2/Rear/Sub(mono)Center(mono) no aux in!
