Default SynRTA?

What does everyone think of synRTA?

New Page 1

I used a somewhat flat mic I had and re-rta'd last night with better than expected results.

Curious that a piece of free software that does RTA is not mentioned more here. Maybe folks here just don't RTA very often?

Only nit picking, but "RTA" isn't a verb, it's an acronym.

However, it looks like an interesting program, freeware is always nice too.

I have played with Praxis a little bit (which is a heavy tool also from Liberty)-- never touched SynRTA. Will have to check it out now.

CYA is an acronym and a verb... no reason RTA can't be..

Actually if you really want to nit-pick, RTA cannot be an acronym. The initials of the grouped words have to spell another word. Example: MILF. I guess CYA could be if you pronounce it SEE-YA.

Ritta?

RTTY in the ham radio world is pronounced Ritty LOL. (radio teletype)

It serveed a purpose by identifying some areas where I need to work. I'm going to cross check methinks with another program though.

Thanks for the link. I will try it the next time I RTA a system. I've always wanted to reference something against TrueRTA.

I've used SynRTA for months. I like it fine, and use it more than trueRTA.

I'm wanting to try this program out but it doesn't seem to like the .txt calibration files I have for my behringer 8k mic. Anyone have a working cal file for this program and that mic?

Thanks
