Default Good titanium tweeter?

I'm not sure how familiar you guys are with home audio but at home I have a set of the Axiom Audio M80's seen below. They use a titanium tweeter with aluminum woofers and they are the perfect sound which I was looking for.

Floorstanding Speakers : Millennia M80 v2 - Axiom Audio

Last week I heard the Boston Acoustic Pro60se and the SPZ60. These components sounded very similar to my M80's on the board. I almost want to go and purchase a set and install them in my car. But before I do that I do have a question. I currently have the Seas Reference mids which I love. My question is do any of you know of any titanium tweeters that I can use that would be similar to the boston pros or even the axiom audio tweeters with my current seas mids?

Home audio is mucho differante than car audio [ think , early reflections . . . late reflections , etc.., ]

MBQ's will do what you want [ preferably ones before the company changed hands ]

I've always liked the CAL25 titanium tweeters from Rainbow. I used to run them active in my car, and I've been trying out a set of Boston PRO60SE's over the last month or so.

I really like the sound of both the CAL25 and the PRO60 tweeters. I'd describe the Boston's as compared to the Rainbows' sound as a little more "up front/in your face", for lack of a better terminology. In my opinion, the Rainbow tweeters seem to be more dynamic overall, to me, with the same amount of power being given to them, in the same mounting area.

I've got a set of gently used CAL25 titan tweeters for sale, if you decide to go that route and give them a try. PM me if you're interested.

GL either way with your decision. Hope I helped out.

I have a pair of the mb quart tweets if you are looking for tweeters. They are amazing as long as you have them off axis with the windshield and turned down.
