The whole lower portion of the door panels have been removed and refabricated to match stock panel as best as possible. The enclosure for the driver(s) is mounted to the door, and the door panels remove as a normal panel would.

I know its an old thread but any more pictures or info on how those door panels were modified ?

I'm going to do something similar and just looking for ideas.

From what I can tell the entire lower portion was either recreated, of the front portion was done in fiberglass and then molded into the rear portion.

I am thinking of doing it an easier way and actually creating an aluminum panel that will clip over the existing panel that will hide the butchery underneath. I haven't taked it off the door yet to determine if that lower section can be separated off yet or not.
