Default FS: Kef R-series Concentric (Coaxial) Speakers.

Product Brand & Model:

Kef Sp1632 with decorative rings

Condition of all items:

New

Total Price: :

400 a pair

Shipping Terms: :

TBD

Pictures: - Unless you are a Upgraded member, or your last 10 iTrader feedbacks are positive, you must post a picture of the exact item you are selling.

Additional info:

For more info and actual test graphs check ErinH thread https://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/...-speakers.html

THose are pretty much unobtanium as they don`t sell them to everybody, only verified Kef R300 or R500 owners.
And then decorative rings sold as extra. your only source for these is to buy a pair of r300 for $1000 more.

I planned ultimate front stage setup that was scrapped due to car being sold. Now I`m cleaning out just about everything not in immediate plans.

pictures would be up in a sec

I believe they used the same driver in theirs $30000 blades, at least it looks identical. Plus two pairs of non directional woofers. Blade has diffraction horn directly in front of uni-q drivers making it worth $30000 price tag.

Most likely I'll never own a pair of blades to make direct comparison.
THis pair is as close as I can get to it and yet I`m stupid enough to list it for sale.

ooooh, Tangerine Waveguide. So pretty.
The Blades were some of the most impressive speakers I've ever heard. Someone is going to get a great deal on some incredible raw drivers.

The blade uses a different concentric driver than the r-series mid.

Perhaps I thought wrong, they do looks identical from outside.
I wasn`t able to find which part number in blades, do you have that by chance?

if you look at the blades the giveaway is the number of ridges the mid has vs the r-series. I also believe the blade mid uses a neo motor.

Sorry, I don't have a part number for that one.

yep, I haven`t counted ridges on cones before, mine has 9 ridges when blades has twice as many. my guess was wrong about blades assumption.
nonetheless spectacular drivers. at 1400 street price for R300 still great buy, no?
