Thanksgiving bump for the Bit One with the newest board design/components, newest firmware, new DRC and the relatively rare, SFC! Price now $340 and will throw in (2) Auvio Optical cables and (1-2) rca-rca digital cables.

Don't hold off for another price drop as this is a fair price, and I'm not really in a rush to sell, other than just to have it done with... I'm just selling because my old Civic hit 210,000 miles and I've picked up new wheels that I don't have time to customize.

Enjoy your turkey! I'm off to inject creole butter, then deep fry one, right now!

Thanks.

Hey Don,

The SFC converts digital input signals of varying bit depths and without carrier signals, to work with the Bit One. There are portable media players that won't match the B1 input requirements, and a few car CD players and other devices that operate without a carrier signal, and this device allows almost any digital source with the Bit One hassle-free. Here's a link to a page where it sells for $347 and I'm including it essentially free!

Here are some stats and info from that page:
The Audison SFC (Sampling Frequency Converter) converts the digital signal, inputting an S/PDIF digital signal with 32 kHz - 192 kHz sampling frequency and outputting an S/PDIF digital signal with 48 kHz sampling frequency without altering the information. It can not handle AC3 or Dolby Surround encoded signals but just stereo PCM ones and does not convert the digital signal into analog.

The SFC unit features two inputs, those being coaxial electrical (75 Ω) and optical (TOSLINK), user selectable through the INPUT MODE switch.
Specifications:
  • Selectable Inputs Coaxial or Optical (S/PDIF)
  • Input Sampling Frequency/resolution
  • 32 kHz/16 bit ÷ 192 kHz/24 bit
  • Outputs Coaxial and Optical (S/PDIF)
  • Output Sampling Frequency 48 kHz
  • Voltage 11 ÷ 15 VDC
  • Current consumption 0.1 A
  • Remote IN voltage 7 ÷ 15 V
  • DCRemote OUT voltage 7 ÷ 15 VDC (pass through)
  • Size: W x H x D (in) 3”3/8 x 1”1/2 x 3”1/8

If you're interested, please respond by PM, so I'm likely to see it more quickly. I just happened to notice this, but I'm checking PMs regularly. Thanks!
