Default Possibly the better 10 inch sub.

Of the ones who've heard, if price were not an issue which 10" sub is better?

Audiofrog gb10D4
Oncore sm10d4
Illusion c10 or c10 xl?

Oh. And this will be for a one sub setup with either a sealed or ported box.

Thanks guys!

I have never heard (or even seen) the Encore sub...
But, between the Audiofrog and the Illusion; I'd go Audiofrog all the way.

With that said; I think it would be best for you to narrow-down what sort of enclosure you're going to use.
Sealed or ported? Makes a difference, especially with the Illusion sub.

How so? I'm leaning towards going sealed for a more stealthy look.

But a small part of me wants to go ported for more output and theoretically more lows.

I hope simplicityinsound chimes in since he has experience with all of these subs. And then some.

Can you download winISD and model them? The software is pretty easy to use, you basically input the speaker's parameters, then you can model the response based on whatever enclosure you want to use. The subs will all be optimized in a different enclosure, so you can model each sub in different enclosures to see which one is going to accomplish your goals best. Even if someone has used all three of those subs, most likely they haven't used all three in a variety of enclosures. WinISD will take a lot of the guess work out of the equation.
