Default "Stealth" Box's

I was curious if anyone has some incite on how the JL Audio & MTI under seat truck sub enclosures are built? I would like to build my own but am not sure how the curved angle corners are made unless its fiberglass or maybe stacks of layered mdf glued and sanded like a 3D printer would do. The stacked method would waste so much material though.

I don't know, but my 1st guess is injection-molded plastic.

If it's a huge product with lots of curves/bends it might be thermoformed or vacuum formed. (Clamshell type, joined later.)

Unless you have access to high grade, high tech (read EXPENSIVE) scanning and 3d writing or thermo forming equipment, pretty much the Easiest way for a DIY to make their own stealth box is by using conventional "in place" fiber glass forming techniques.

In fact, having owned a couple of the JL stealth boxes, I am fairly sure that this is the way JL approaches making the molds for their line of "Stealthboxes".
