Default Silly question - speaker rotation matter

Super silly question, but it's not something I've ever thought about until now that I'm drilling my adapters. Does the speaker orientation matter at all? In my mind, it shouldn't make a difference, but I just want to make sure.

Where do you want your terminal posts on backside? Typically at 6 o’clock, but every install is different.

Doesn't make a huge difference to me. I just wasn't sure how exact my orientation needs to be since I haven't drilled my car door yet to mount the adapters. I think I'll just redrill the holes, got plenty of space left.

Thanks!

Orientation can matter for beaming purposes on oval speakers, but round is omnidirectional until it isn't (at beaming) unless there's a lensing effect created by a specific grille.

Special thanks to all of the industry experts that share their knowledge here on the forum

I've got round speakers, I realized it's much easier to just template the speaker on the adapter when it's on the door rather than before. Finished my passenger door today and will tackle the driver door tomorrow.

Worked great. One of the taps I ran got messed up, no clue how, but all the other taps were very easy.
