Default Box gurus please help

I will be using a very unusual box shape. I'm finding it difficult to settle on a port design. I really dont even know if porting is possible.

My internal dimensions Id like to stay in are 16"x2"x60"

I can go to 16x3x60 but really dont want to build it that tall.

I'll be using 3/4" mdf.

Im not sure I can even really port it.

I'll be using a reverse mount adire brahma 12"

Anyone out there that can work some magic and find a way to port it at 30hz without a bunch of port noise and delay?

The 2" thick isn't enough volume for a ported box, even the 3" thick is on the low side for that woofer.

You have more than enough room for a sealed box though.

Seems thick enough for a passive radiator

You may be better off with 2-1/2" And maybe better with 1/2" or 5/8 Baltic birch and using more stiffeners.

Reach out to Shredder2 over at https://www.caraudio.com/forums/general-discussion.7/

He can pretty much design any box in CAD and send you the cut sheets. He has an alien avatar.
