Default 3way front stage vs 2way front stage.

what are pros and cons of either?

i have a 2006 GLI that has OE speaker placement for an active 3-way set up. is there an audible difference between a 3-way and 2-way setup?

Do a search here, we've talked about this over and over. You'll find some (many, even) people who insist that a 3-way setup is, and always will be, superior. I disagree, and think there are a lot of other factors that need to be considered before making up your mind. There are plenty of real world consideration that will determine which setup will sound best.
