Default Tweeters - Please help me choose a replacement for my MDT29-4's

Hey all. I've been running MDT29's for many years. As great as they sound, I've become fed up with the weak tinsel leads.

Looking for a set of tweeters for no more than $150.00 for the pair. Closer to $100.00 would be better. I've got an active two-way front stage with Audio Frog GS690's in the doors and the tweeters in the stock 3.5" dash locations of my 2018 Jeep Compass. Trying to keep a stealth/stock appearance for now, so I'd like a tweeter that will fit in the stock locations, just as the MDT29's do now.

I'm also open to widebands, if there's anything in my price range that would be suitable. Currently have the mids and tweets crossed with LR4 @ 2.4 kHz, but would definitely like a tweeter (or WB) that can be safely crossed lower while still playing cleanly.

Recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

You might try looking at Madisound for a large format tweeter like the Morel;
