Default Midbass

I have read a bunch of reviews. In need of 6.5 midbass looking at the Stevens mb6 or the sa6 or the si tm65 Mkiii for new build. Want a hard hitting speaker. in my old system I used JBL 2206h as midbass I know a 6.5 wonít hit like a 12 inch will.

Tuning and and application. Out of those I'd use the mb6. Better if you can use the mb8

Do you need a midbass for a 2-way, or 3-way, and are you using a subwoofer?

In that case, since the C3CX will play much lower than a typical tweeter, I'd be looking for a put midbass 6.5". Typical 6.5's need to run well into the vocal range to pair with a tweeter, they need to be both midrange and mibass. You don't need the midrange if you use the Illusion C3CX, so find a 6.5' that is designed purely for midbass, the Exodus Anarchy comes to mind.
