Default Tacoma SQ 3way front stage build

I want to take my current set up to the next level in my 2017 Tacoma DC. I have pieces I can use but I wanted to purchase new 3way speakers and keep it under $1k.
I am thinking:
Audiofrog GB10
Audiofrog GB25
Audiofrog GS690 (any other suggestions are welcome)

What I have:
HU: Alpine Halo9 ILX-F309
JL Audio RD400/4
Phoenix Gold RX2 750.5
JL Audio twk88
JL Audio Jl audio 10" powerwedge+ subwoofer

*want to get rid of* Focal Performance 165AS components

I want to install tweeters in sails, and not sure if the gb25s will fit in the stock tweeter location in my Tacoma, and if it does, how will it change my sound stage? I am fully able to fiberglass my a pillars and put the gb25s there if its worth it.

I don't have much in the way of a audiophile past, I am doing my best to study and learn. Happy to get some thoughts from all of you. Also, I can finally stop lurking.

I also saw these, I was confused because I saw a couple of comments such as "hot garbage". I wasn't sure why these are not good (would save a lot of fiberglass work).

*edit*

I can't post links yet, but these are the pods you can find on ebay for the gb25 and gb10.

Never felt the "wow" factor. It sounds good, but I want great. Look for them in the classifieds after i order the audio frogs in a week or so.

I had the same question, is it actually the 165as3 you have, the three-way?

I have a 2010 Tacoma DC, curious to see what you come up with. I have no experience with a 3rd gen or Audio Frog. But I love my Tacoma even with the budget ghetto 3way set up. Maybe check out Tacomaworld and see who fit what where. I was in the same situation trying to find a place for the mid since it would not fit in stock tweeter location. Installed tweeters on the sail panels as well.
I ended up using MDF and some headliner making baffles to hold the speaker in the door pocket. Was playing with some PVC caps but removal wouldn't have been as easy. The speakers are sealed so there is no back wave to deal with. Eventually, when it's not so flippin hot out I will fiberglass them into the door just above the midbass.
I too was worried about having them low if it would affect the stage, but I am more than happy with the dispersion of the Dynaudio dome that came out of a Volvo. How the frogs would sound I do not know.
