Default Sub recommendations

Hello, looking for recommendations on a replacement sub. Currently running a JL 10W1V3 single 4. Box is .55 and depth is 5-1/4 power is from a Fosgate P600X4 bridged at 300 watts. Looking for something a little louder-more output. Keep everything else the same box and amp wise. Was thinking of the Sundown SD but not sure it would be any better than the JL. Let me know what you think. Thanks!!

If it doesn't fit, force it. If it breaks it needed to be fixed anyway.

Only way to get what you want would be higher efficiency and/or more power. Isn't the w1v3 a pretty efficient sub?

Agreed, the only way to get "more" is with just that.... "more". More subwoofers, More power, More efficiency, More cubic foot (going vented).

With a .55, I'm sure that's a sealed enclosure. If you have room to add .4 "more" you could utilize a vented enclosure.

The efficiency of your sud is 84db @ 1w/1m, you could search for a subwoofer that is "more" efficient with a higher db @ 1w/1m.

Now if your just wanting to try something new because, well, let's face it, that's what we do in this hobby lol. We can definitely make some recommendations.

You could look at an Audiofrog GB10D2
Efficiency is at 93db, sealed enclosure is .5-.75
300 watts will work and gives you room to grow in power.
