Default Where to get good quick disconnects?

Looking to get some male/female quick disconnects in bulk for speaker connections, must be good quality, not this radio shack/home depot crap.

Thanks.

I use ATX power plugs/jacks... Buy a 24 pin ATX extension cable and it'll have both male and female plugs (one on each end), and it can handle up to 12 speakers. Chop the cable in half, and voila a single 24 pin quick disconnect! eBay has them for ~$3.

What size wires in the ATX connectors?

JL has some on closeout. I have some, they are OK. Not sure what quality you are looking for.

Look up "deans" connectors... hobbyists use them quite a bit, and if you can solder, you should like these quite a bit

edit, here i did it for you. http://www.wsdeans.com/products/plugs/ultra_plug.html

That's a hot deal if I ever saw one. I placed an order for those myself just now. Is that already in the "hot deals" subforum? If not, I'd definitely post it up.

Standard ATX power wires are 18 gauge. The way I see it, if you chop the cable in half, those 18 gauge wires are only sending current/voltage for about 4", in either direction. I just solder whatever gauge my incoming and outgoing wires are to those 18 gauge wires.

They are.
Is there a reasonable amount of pairs (male/female)?

Thanks.
