Joe I'm looking for some advice on installing my first system. I'd be awesome if you could help out. I have 2007 Nissan Altima I had the system installed by a local car audio shop and it sounded like complete trash. All the wiring was done incorrectly, a brand new amp burned out in less than a week and you could hear tons of interference in the speakers when the I accelerated. I will be reinstalling and re-wiring the whole car and I will be using the following, tell me what you think.
(1) JL audio JX360/4
(1) DB drive A6-1600.1D
DB drive P7M 6C
DB drive S5-69HP
PAIR-Db drive P7TW 3D
10' CT hydro
The tweeters and 6x9's both have an impedance of 4 ohms but the 6.5's have an impedance of 8 ohms. My JL JX360/4 amp delivers 90 watts to each channel at 2 ohms. How will wire my speakers in order to get the best sound?
u mentioned at the time u thought cutting out your speaker grills was a bad idea..
curently i would whole heartedly agree with you? is this not the case should u actualy take the speaker grills out and maby just use a bar or go bare instead?
