      My opinion, I have no technical data to back this up. I have found that I hear a better soundstage when my pods are as dense (heavy) as possible. This may help reduce resonance from the pod by lower the resonance frequency below the point that the driver plays. What I have done is mixed body filler with fiberglass strands and metal weights such as these. You can also mix in resin to thin the body filler if you find needed.

      Ok good to know, my pods are solid aluminum pods and are already really dense but maybe they could be more? I honestly don’t know, I just dont wanna install them and they sound like ****.

      That’s a really good idea I’m going a slightly different route but your logic is spot on
