I just picked up a 2011 black 335IS with DCT. Drawback is the car has base stereo (no HK / premium audio package).
I usually drop aftermarket audio systems in the cars I own if it makes sense (installation and money spent for desired results). I am thinking of the following upgrade...
What's the proper way to de-EQ a factory HU using Helix DSP? (manual: http://www.audiotec-fischer.de/files/BAs/Helix/Prozessoren/BA_HELIX%20DSP.pdf)
I have a calibrated mic and a calibrated sound card. Would this work?
1) Hook up calibrated sound card output RCA out > AUX in on...
I am back for my second install. This forum has been invaluable for me in the past and as a novice, I was able to create a system for my expedition that basically made all other cars I've been in sound err... blah, including my 335i convertible.
Now I am ready to take the plunge...
Coming up very soon...I can't wait to install the new Mosconi D2 100.4 DSP.
The D2 will power up each corner, while the M-Line amplifier will be dedicated to run the mid bass drivers under the seats.
The car will be coded to HIFI too in order to flatten the radio EQ curve from factory.
