Are there any issues using a 1 ohm sub setup?

Set up being a 1 ohm stable amp and 2 - 2ohm drivers wired in parallel for a 1 ohm load.
By issues I mean "sound quality", "overheating", etc.

If it's designed to run at 1 ohm it will work.
