What are some good 12" mid-basses wit good SQ and high sensitivity?
I'm looking for PA style mid-basses.
And they should have as much Xmax as possible.
The budget is about 200€, stretching close to 300€.
They should be available in Europe, e.g. Boutique Haut-parleurs & Audio DIY or UralTone amplification verkkokauppa - etusivu

I have been looking at GZCW 12-75SPL.
I don't know about their sound quality but many SPL guys say they're good.
I asked GZ about their Xmax and they sent me this:
GZCW 12-75
Xprot 10.5 mm (each direction) (=Xmech)
Xmax = Xprot + 5%

I believe they understood Xmax wrong. Xmech is peak mechanical excursion and Xmax usually is about half of that, not more?

I've also looked at Beyma. They have good Xmax and have linear response. Which one of them would suite me best?
Any other good brands or candidates?

They should play at least 60-600Hz.
They should keep up with:
My mid-ranges; Eminence Alpha 6cbmra and tweeters; PRV d280ti. 4x100W at least for them.
2x15" subs on 8kW with a goal of 150dB.

Power is a little unsure, but right now I have 2x200W @ 4Ohm to give them. I would prefer 4Ohm mid-basses, or some that are like 8Ohm nominal but Re is like 5Ohms.

high sensitivity and high xmax are opposing design goals. doesnt mean one driver cant beat another driver in both metrics, just that at the end of the day, no matter how much you spend, you wont get the best of both in one driver, and being good on both fronts likely wont be cheap

I have looked at the 12pr300 myself also. It looks quite good, but I've heard Faital calculates their xmax differently, at least with the 10fe200.

The 12xl1200 looks very good but out of my price range.

How about the Beyma 12MCS500?
