Hey guys, this is my first post. I can see there are some pretty smart people on here, so let me cut to the chase.

I am putting a stereo in my Backdraft Cobra Replica. I am putting a pair of 6.5 component speakers in the rear deck, with a 10" sub in the trunk, and a JL Audio DX 900.5 amp to power the three speakers. I want to just use an iPod or iPod Nano to power it all. What else will I need to make this happen? I have read about a volume control or line amplifier??

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

You can just plug the headphone jack of the ipod to the RCA input of the amp via a "y" cable. Or you can use a line driver if you want a little more room to play. Several audio control peices have aux inputs on their integration items.
