No real acoustic benefit to making separate boxes. You could make an argument that shared enclosures are better for a few reasons. But that's all very marginal. Positioning and aiming can have a more influence on response but not much. If you want them to install two boxes fiberglassed into either side of the cargo space that might offer a good space savings. If you dont need the space savings I would just stick to some simple enclosures that you can pull out when you need more space. Maybe the installer will have some better idea.
