thats way more power than you need going to the ribbons.

i am a firm believer in
'dynamic headroom",the amp is rated for that,doesn't mean that it will be putting that much into them continuously.in my last 3 way set i had 50w for each tweet,75w for midrange,150w for each midbass and 200w into ea of 4 ten inch subs(800w). i want this new system to get just as loud,just more detail. besides i already have the 5 amps(1 for rear fill),all matched orion old school sx series.

im very found of my L18RNX/LCY130 combo..

The LCY108 isnt too far off a driver from the LCY130. actually, theyre basically the same except the front face plate. however, the slight horn loading and larger faceplate of the 110/130's allow them them play slightly lower (200 and 400hz lower then the 108's according to their website - not much a difference).

having the drivers blend together is all in the tuning...well, mostly.
