So I’m planning on putting 4 8’s Skar audio subs in my truck what are y’all thoughts and what should I do about electrical be what type of amplifier would be best perder Skar but is open to thoughts

No love for Skar on this forum really, or most caraudio forums lol, I use some Skar, performs well for the small dollars it costs.

Personally I would go with 2 12s over 4 8s.

Amp depends on the subs, how much power at what impedance. Skar sells plenty of sub amps, apex audio makes decent stuff that is budget friendly too.

4 gauge power and ground, should cover you for most power applications, stock alt will be fine, good agm battery is always nice to have.

Well I would go for 2 12’s but I want it under the seat and I don’t want the box too small for the 12’s I’m going to try pushing 3500 watts or 4K the end of the 8’s are 900

Those subs want well over 1ft³ of airspace ported, unless you're going sealed you'd suffocate them

7-5/8" height, that's quite a bit...

And with that power you'd need 0 gauge ofc wire, cca wouldnt cut it, a good battery and a high output alternator likely depending on listening style and level
