He just posted about that in a group.Congrats. Wish we could have judged again this year. Hopefully next year Leo will be able to resume this event and we will be back
Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully you can get everything squared away with your car and you can make it up for Aggieland in April or Lonestar in the fallHe just posted about that in a group.
December 2-3, 2023 will be Leo´s show.
J.
If all goes as planed, I should be there for both. Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully you can get everything squared away with your car and you can make it up for Aggieland in April or Lonestar in the fall
No resonance problems so far.You didn't have any problem with resonance in that kick panel chamber ? I've been a little gun shy about just mounting kick speakers like that as I did it one time in a truck and it was a disaster, it vented up into the a-pillar and the whole thing would light up with vibrations. I imagine in your case that is folded and reinforced metal. Did you do much sound treatment in that cavity ?
Nice. Agreed that there is a wide variance between a lot of these that will be obvious when you hear them. What's the difference between your "Half Whit." and ".5 Whit"? (I haven't yet had time to play with the updated Zazzi/Erica tuning sheet).Been playing with Justin and Ericas tuning companion Updated Justin tuning sheet ( Justin and Erica tuning... and used it to generate different target curves. Loaded them to Dirac 4 each time to the DSP and been auditioning. Its pretty sweet to hear the difference.
Made a graph to compare the curves.

The tuning companion has 8 target curves and allows you to load custom ones. I have several more that Ive found and used the custom option to make Dirac files.Nice. The "Whitledge" is my best attempt to match the target for the early Magic Bus.Nice. Agreed that there is a wide variance between a lot of these that will be obvious when you hear them.
