I got a old school Sony 6 channel...thinking about trying it active since it has all the crossovers...30 x 6 rated...

all my drivers are the old US made ADS in a 3 way system..

Most of the a/d/s/ drivers were around 92dB sensitive. That helps. It's enough for moderate listening. I've powered them with less, but you can definitely drive them into clipping pretty easily.

I don't think its enough for me but I will give it a shot when amp arrives

I tried several year ago with an ADS 6 channel (about the same wattage) that I borrowed from a friend of mine. The tweets were great, the mids were ok, and the midbass was....MIA. Sounded great at low volume, but just wasn't enough wattage for my taste. Taught me a lot, so the effort wasn't wasted. Have fun with it.:p

I am thinkin of going active and this was just so simple to use but probably not good enough for me but great in wifes ride. Haha.

Can you bridge 4 of the channels so you have a 4 channel amp?

then you'd have a staggered amp for tweets and mids. you'd need another amp for midbasses tho.
