planning to bridge my 4 channel amp to run just the front stage passive.

how would the RCA wiring look like? can you split the left and right channels (front stage) of the RCA using y adapters then just feed just the left into channels 1-2 bridged, then the right into channels 3-4 bridged using 2 sets of y adapters (1 female 2 male)?

in essence... do you feed channel 1-2 with just the left signal (through y splitter) and channel 3-4 with just the right signal?

I would just try it. Some amps only require one RCA when bridged they will use the R side only (or L maybe) while other amps will mono R and L and you need a Y cable. If you hook it up and both RCA make sound come out of the bridged speaker then it likely needs a Y. If only one RCA works you don't need to use the other one. To be safe turn the system off before you swap RCA.
