Well I figured I would post my journey into my install in my f150 here. Im not by any means new to the car audio world but have been out for quite a while.

I am in the process of getting things ready to install the following into my 98 f150 project truck/Winter DD.

Kenwood KDC-X791
2x Infinity Kappa Perfect Perfect12d VQ
RF Power 500a2 black and grind
RF Punch 400a4 (black and grind)
Boss 3.5 farad capacitor

Still deciding on mids and highs. I am thinking kappa 680.9s in my front doors

Its not by any means going to be competition level but it will be a lot better than stock lol.

Looks like a good start. Make sure to get some deadening material and you don't need the cap. It will just take up unnecessary space. Pics of the truck?

Im going to deaden the whole cab. Especially the back wall due to the fact these will be rear firing.

The truck is still stock right now. It is raised about 2" due to overload springs and torsion bars cranked. I just got it and I need sound more than appearance.
