A friend of mine has a couple of A/D/S PQ20 (4x100) amps that he would like to sell to me. I have no idea how much they are worth and neither does he. I have seen a pretty big swing in prices in forums over time (just found a few sales on different forums). Some have sold for a bargain price, but some for more than I would pay for a current 'decent' amp. I trust that he has taken good care of them and I am also pretty sure that he did not buy them new.

What do you think would be a fair price? These are the made in Japan ones.

first off its not a 4x100 amp...its 4x70. And i think the price depends on condition and how much you want it

$125 would be a fair price unless it is pristine.

I have watched them on and off over the years and $150-300 seems to be the spread depending on condition. There are 2 generations. The first gen is a lighter grey and didn't quite put our rated power. The second gen would be a PQ20.2 and was a darker grey color with improvements to make rated power. Both are beautiful sounding amps. Good luck!

Great SQ amps! I think about $125+ good and $200+ mint.
I know someone recently regret switching ADS PQ20 to PPI pc4400.2

According to my buddy they are the PQ20.2, he has three or four that he wants to sell. Look out for the post in the classifieds. I will post them on his behalf as he is not very internet saavy, it seems.
