Whats up guys? Im new here and i posted my build idea in the intro page and there are a few things associates with this build id like to get some input on..

ill start by laying out all the components of the build..

Scanspeak 18W-453-G00 7" (4 ohm) in the front doors
Scanspeak D3004/6020-00 1" dome tweeters (4ohm) in the a pillars off axis
Mini DSP 2x4 for xover and time delay settings
12v isolator
Pac aa gm44 amp integrator
Two SVC peavey lowrider 18" subwooofers (wired to 4ohm) infinite baffle setup
Rockford fosgate T1500-1bdcp
Rockford fosgate T600-4
Doors to be sealed with ccf & mlv and a couple cld tiles.
Power to be supplied to the amps by 1/0 OFC 300A KICKER 09PKD1 dual amp wiring kit
(2x) DBLINK ANLFH01 fuse holders
TSPEC 16AWG OFC wire
TSPEC 12AWG OFC wire
Have not selected the rca's yet
Amplifier remote signal Wire relay to activate both amps..not sure yet, want to find a quiet relay to keep coil noise down.

So, the questions i have are as follows..

1) proper mounting of the tweets, the seas prestige ones i looked at had a threaded hole in the back and were able to be flush mounted. The d3004s have 3 holes on the frame, but id like to have a "factory looking" pod over them to hide them. Any suggestions for this?

2) the T1500-1bdcp amp says it only accepts low level rca input, my pac aa gm44 has rca outputs but are these low level or do i need to pic up a high to low convertor? And then do some connector swapping. There are 4 ouputs from the pac, the two fronts will go to the 2x4 mini dsp and then to my amp for the front stage.. id like to have the two for the rear just be my sub inputs.

3) Any suggestion a a particular brand of OFC rca cables?

4) particular relay used to send remote on signal to both amps.. ive ran into noisy relay coils (electrical interferance, not the click you hear when the relay switches states, sorry if too lamen) in my experience of controls at work. ( If this is not an issue with 12vdc, AWESOME!)

This should cover most of my questions thus far, im sure i will have more as i get deeper in the project.

Great, thanks for the help. That's exactly what i was looking for. Is there anyone on here actually worth speaking to?
You have had it up for 4 whole hours and already you are being a DB? What is it with people lately...or is my tolerance for impatient people just getting less and less here in the middle of a cold vermont winter?

FWIW every one of your questions can be answered with the search function while you are waiting for people to get home from work eat some dinner and maybe have a cold beer or two.

Fwiw, i have been searching. I figured there are a lot of people on here with knowledge of these things already. Thus why i joined. I truly appreciate being called a db, and you not helping. Its responses like yours and fulletals that are a waste of everyone's time.

what has your search turned up? Maybe we can help by letting you know if you are on the right track.

For the record i called you a DB because after 4 hours and 7 posts you called out the entire forum because you hadnt got your answer yet...so it was deserved, not maybe take some time to convince us you are not one, and i will apologize.

Heres my two cents after having dinner and a couple beers.

1. do you want flush mount or factory hidden look they are generally two different looks. I don't see a lot of scan flush mount tweeters on factory installs. what is the vehicle? What are your install skills?

2. All RCA connections are low level....speaker level inputs are high level.

3. There is a guy on here who sells custom RCA cables...find him and buy his, they are very good.

4. why are you bothering with a relay here? Its not needed.

My apologies, it has been a long day at work (was held over on a double.. gotta love unplanned 16 hr shifts).
this install will be in a 2014 chevy cruze (non pioneer factory audio)

1) i would like the tweeters to be hidden, i am fine with replacing the factory plastic grills on the a pillar for something better which i feel i will need to with the larger and perhaps taller dome grill on the scans. Id like it to look as "factory" as possible though, cause i do end up in chicago often and would like to keep prying eyes from un wanted onlookers seeing big pods and have any idea of the caliber of system in here for the taking..

2) thank you for this, i am new to the audio world. I was not able to confirm this at the time.

3) excellent, i will look for him. I am not aware of the good ones vs the bad ones except to look for ofc conductors..

4) it was my assumption (audio newb) that by "daisy chaining" the 2 amps remote on inputs it could have adverse effects. So I was going to have the pac remote wire go to a relay with 2 sets of N.O. contacts. If this is not needed, excellent. One less thing to worry about.

1. If you already own the scan, you may be able to remove the grill to hide it behind the the sail panel....if you dont already own it, there are some smaller tweeters available that sound great. Seas makes one...its tiny and you can hot glue it behind your sail panel.

3. Here ya go:

4. Not needed for just two amps and a processor.

I currently have in my possession, 2 seas prestige 27TFFNC/G (H1396) 1" Textile Dome tweeters, but after more research i found the scans and that people were raving about them. I also like that they can handle the power i am wanting to send to each channel. The seas seems like it may be an easier mount, but my end goal is not just cheap and easiest, i am wanting sq, and will tske my time to build this right. How ever if the seas are in fact better and much cheaper then excellent.

seas is a damn nice tweeter, and don't get so hung up on power...you can get really really loud with 50 watts per channel.

Scans usually end up in the a pillar with some custom fiberglass work. Thats why i asked you up front what your install skill level was.
