One school says it doesn't matter, the other says it does. I am in the latter. I am going to do a test on the outcome, but it has been 100 degrees here and I do these in my garage, so I am delayed.
I would just play music through them after you install them. Dont see any need to pre-break-them in.
I don't believe it's all that important anyway, but regardless, why hook them up to your home stereo first? Just install them in the car? They'll break in or whatever they do that way.
I can now call myself a dumbass for not searching first!
