Thinking about doing an A-pillar/dash install for my 4" Resolution set. I saw a badass A3 on here a while back but can seem to find it. My question is should i try and intergrate them into the A-pillar as most do for tweeters, or should i just glass a pod for them in the corner of dash and attatch somehow?

Vehicle is a 03 Grand Am cpe...putting 6.5's in doors as midbass.

Why not? If you have the skills then go for it. There are a lot of how tos on this site as well as online. You will have to read up as this can get quite technical, not only the fabrication but the tweeter aiming which is the most important thing, IMHO :D

keeping the speakers as far away as possible from the side windows will reduce the effects of rolling the windows down. With that said, putting the speakers on the dash and tweeters in the a-pillar would be substantially better than putting the midrange at the top of the doors and tweeters in the sail panels if you actually use your movable windows.
