PLEASE!!! Not to nag or rush, but any idea when the power supply may be ready for sale? I need to know if this is an option for me or not and I'd rather not do the experimenting with other supplies to try to get it right. Any idea???

I won't hold you to that....as long as it comes out before the ID-1 (j/k). Thanks for the guesstimate. In one month my summer begins, so if it's any time around there, even 1 month late, all will be good. Will you be selling the unit w/ power supply or an add on power supply?

Thanks again!

Sorry if this is a repeat ?..main think I need to confirm...One of these units will do an active 4 way setup, right? (tweet, mid, midbass, sub)
6 outputs / 3 pairs of outputs / 3-way crossover / tweet, midwoofer, subwoofer.

i wouldnt worry about it too much.. if you have a HU with subwoofer control (which most hu's have), then you can run the tweeter, midrange, and midbass off the DCX2496 and the subwoofer off the subwoofer control of the HU! 8)

I plan on making the power supply as affordable as possible. It will be DIY to install, but shouldn't involve more than soldering a few wires and mounting the pcb inside the unit. There will be pictures and detailed instructions, and it's really very straight forward.

I won't be selling the dcx2496... simply because I've seen it online and on Ebay for less than my cost. So not much point in that :) The same with the Canare star quad cables. I'll have a tutorial on how to install and use the device soon enough that should answer everyone's questions.
