I plan on using the SEAS W18EX-001 7" Midbass and the SEAS Lotus Reference Aluminum Tweeter in a 2-Way Setup. What power amps should I be looking at? I would like to stick to either ARC Audio or Zapco because I can get good deals on them. Will my installer be able to do everything he needs to do as far as tuning and crossover points with a Pioneer Premier DEH-P860MP head unit? Thanks in advance for the help.

Well if this were OLD SCHOOL days, then Zapco all the way, but Arc Audio (who wasnt around in da old school) is a very nice amp, you cant go wrong with the cxl or xxk lines...

OK, changed it up a little bit, I will be using the folowing:

SEAS L22RN4X/P 8" Aluminum Cone Midbass = 125 W RMS @ 8 ohms
LPG 51AT 2" Aluminum Dome Midrange = 100 W RMS @ 8 ohms
LPG 25NFA 1" Textile Dome Tweeter = 80 W RMS @ 8 ohms
Image Dynamics IDQ15 v.2 or TREO TSX15 = 400-500W RMS @ 4 ohms

I would kind of like to run ARC Audio amps, but the Zapco R1000.4 seems to be a much better fit because it is more powerful. I was thinking of running a R360.4 (50W x 4) and a R1000.4 (150W x 2 plus 500W X 1) because it seems like almost a perfect fit. What do you think. Obviously run the 360.4 on the midrange and tweeter and the 1000.4 on the midbass and the sub. Will this be enough power for these drivers. I also want to make sure that all of the neccessary tuning can be accomplished through a Premier P860MP headunit and that i will not have to buy anything else. Thanks in advance for your help.

If the price difference isn't much different between the Arcs and the Zapcos, I would get the Zapcos handsdown. Balanced signals are kewl... That 1000.4 is a beast too... If the price difference between the two amps is too terribly large, just go with the Arcs. They'll do the job for you quite nicely as well..

The new arc kar 600.4's are beasts, good price. Rated 100rms x4, actually looking at 120+rms x4, new Rob Zef design...look into them. 4150 is great as well, some day I'll buy another.

I run a Zap, cant help but to say the whole symbilink is overhyped. Not something worth paying for IMO.
But either brand, you'll get a solid, nice built amplifier.
