I find it sad :( What an underrated company, anyone that's heard a Brahma should be shedding a few tears even though they've been gone a while.

I loved my brahma, that thing sounded incredible and was fairly loud.

Those Extremis's look like a darn nice midwoofer too.

I like the brand, but I don't know how much of deal it is - particularly without the IP behind the brand. But still, for the very entrepreurial, could be worth it. Good brand recognition online, but you'll still have to put some research into new products (and still license/pay royalties) on the XBL patent.

It's too bad they went under... I really liked my Koda 6 mids I bought from them a few years ago, even though the first generation didn't have holes cut in the rubber gasket/surround piece where the mounting holes were drilled on the basket :(

That same ad has been on ebay for a very long time, I remember seeing it fo r the first time over 6 months ago. It would be interesting if someone were to buy it and resurrect the brand.

This has been around for quite some time, I want to say close to a year but I couldn't be wrong.

Anywho, Dan Wiggins is still around so someone with enough money could resurrect the name, offering similar if not the same products, just with better customer service. Seems like a win win, maybe. ****ty CS is what brought Adire to its knees years ago, the products performed wonderfully, but waiting 2-3 months or more on a warranty replacement was absurd.

Wow, no wonder it went under. Adire rose and fell during my hiatus from car audio, and all I have ever heard is how amazing they sounded, and always wondered what happened to them.
